Our community is facing new and evolving challenges this year. At times, it can feel overwhelming to keep track of these issues—let alone find meaningful ways to respond together. AIN remains committed to serving as a convening space for Arlington’s faith communities during this time of change.
In the spirit of renewing and strengthening our shared efforts, we are partnering with local nonprofits to launch a series of regular presentations and conversations. These gatherings will afford AIN members the opportunity to learn about the vital work being done across our community, deepen our understanding of the complex issues affecting Arlington, and explore ways we can engage more effectively as faith leaders and partners.
By coming together regularly, we can step back from the demands of our daily work, gain fresh perspective, and recommit to showing up for our neighbors—united in service, compassion, and hope.
We are grateful to Doorways for agreeing to host the first of these presentations. Doorways is an Arlington-based nonprofit which has provided services, shelter, and supportive housing for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault for 47 years. This lunch will touch on their ongoing community work and how AIN can support it. Please join us to learn more about their important mission.
